Challenge #4: IceBreaker Challenge! Tell us about yourself.

And because I posted this challenge on the fest and therefore will be spending the day perusing and getting to know EVERYONE and because I'm sort of obsessed with the question generate I found, I'll let you guys choose what parts of myself I reveal and I'll get back to it when the communities challenge dies down whyile still counting it done shhhh. Don't like these questions (I admit I don't like some of them either, but I thought picking and choosing would be cheating) feel free to generate and ask me your own. ♥

Challenge One: Introduce Yourself:

I had such high hopes for this year's round of Fandom Snowflake Challenge--just like previous years--and so far, while I'm not failing (thanks FSC for extended the fest for slackers such as I) YET, it's not looking good so far.

But enough of that. My intention when first seeing this challenge was to have my post up first thing January 1st (HAHAHA). I was going to host a virtual tea party. Invite each one in with a flair of get to know you chit chat and luxuriate in the joy of sharing with others my life story and hearing more of other's shenanigans.

What you will have here now instead is a virtual speed dating round where I will try to precisely (i.e. bullet point) a few salient points about my journey thus far and hopefully entice others to give me their elevator speech versions of themselves before we delve into the nitty-gritty of the rest of the month.

Here goes:

♥ I'm random AF
♥ I'm ridiculous AF
♥ I really enjoy finding new things to flail about and then sadly move on before they complete.

Examples: Doctor Who, Supernatural and X-Files (though I do hope to finish both Doctor Who (or at least all of New Who) and X-Files (damn movie halfway through has stopped me in my tracks for some reason). I stopped Supernatural at the end of Season 5 because except for that last 3 seconds there at the end, it was just such a perfectly well told and nicely concluded story and I was uncertain to ever having that level of closure if I were to continue, ya know?

Exceptions: Harry Potter (my first and forever fandom--here until the end and beyond, even if the shine has gone), White Collar (Mozzie will always rule my heart ♥) and Star Wars (Han fangirl from before I even knew there were such things). Edited to add: The West Wing (OMG how did I forget one of the only things keeping me sane these days?!?!)

LOVE SMALL FANDOMS too, like A LOT of them.
♥ Mostly contribute in fandom as fangirl, fanfic writer, fanfic writer cheer-er oner, meta (mostly in my head, though I have written some--and even had a few of them published in places like Mary Sue and Outside In)

Since I talk about more than just fandom--yes even in Fandom Snowflake Challenge--here's a bit about that aspect of my life (or as much as I'm comfortable sharing here in a public post).

♥ I am, in fandom circles what is considered, old AF
♥ I am a child care provider and LOVE it
♥ I am, and will more than likely, remain single and childless forever and LOVE it
♥ Identify as female
♥ Queer AF

So that's my time up. Tell me your bits now, cool?
