Okay, I have been putting this off for a while now, but I really want to see this challenge to the bitter end and so...

You see, my confidence in these things are not stellar in the best of times, and lately my karma has been spectacularly bad...

But... well, this one time at a con I met a flister who I didn't really know that well at the time, and she said something that has stayed with me for all these years whether she remembers it or not. She said, "I love your journal, it's so effervescent!" That one simple sentence, that one simple word--effervescent--has gotten me through some bad self-esteem-why-am-I-here days.

So, here I am putting it--and my heart--out for you to do with what you want.

Totally makes sense and I feel the same! I love your rec posts and I always find something new and lovely, even in fandoms I don't usually look in. I should tell you that more often. ♥♥

Aw man, now you've reminded me that I haven't done a week of recs for such a long time... I've been reading alllllllllll the Harry/Draco fics lately for some reason, and have fics in other fandom to rec too.
