In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are.

Okay, I have been putting this off for a while now, but I really want to see this challenge to the bitter end and so...

You see, my confidence in these things are not stellar in the best of times, and lately my karma has been spectacularly bad...

But... well, this one time at a con I met a flister who I didn't really know that well at the time, and she said something that has stayed with me for all these years whether she remembers it or not. She said, "I love your journal, it's so effervescent!" That one simple sentence, that one simple word--effervescent--has gotten me through some bad self-esteem-why-am-I-here days.

So, here I am putting it--and my heart--out for you to do with what you want.

You are filled with imaginings. (I often marvel at what is going on in that brain of yours. More than I will ever know!) I think you know all about the various things I love about you, and how our whatnot bond just gets stronger as time goes on. We have divergent fannish interests, but still the whatnot endures. You like spontaneous road trips while I make reservations and plans, but still the whatnot endures. You are effervescent and full of ridiculosity while I am painful with the earnest, but still the whatnot endures. You voluntarily live in a place that snows - luckily, you can visit me, where the weather is perfect, because even I, with my boundless confidence in the whatnot, would not subject it to the strain of putting me in snow.

Basically, we are two very different peas that manage to live in the same pod. We are very lucky. You make my life better, and I hope I make yours better too.
