I put off doing this meme for a few reasons, the first being that I thought it looked like a thing that would be hard to gather. But corvidology  assured me it wasn't, and I trust them. ❤️ The second was because I knew that a lot of it would be HP, and as I've discussed before, I have complicated thoughts of my output in that fandom. But, I am proud of a lot of the works I produced, and feel like most (if not all) of them have always been a Fuck You to Rowling, so… here goes.

1. Most Hits: Best and the Brightest HP Harry/Tonks. Hits 14,107. (Don't even ask me how many comments it has, I'll just say this: Never change HP fandom, never change.

2. Second Most Kudos: The Matchmaker HP Harry/Ron. Kudos 391

3. Third Most Comments: The Dude Abides Veronica Mars (Veronica & Dick Casablancas) Comments 57

4. Fourth Most Bookmarks: Best and the Brightest (Again, never change HP fandom 😍😭😍😭)

7. Seventh Most Common Relationship: Okay, this one is impossible to tabulate because a HUGE chunk of my HP fics were uploaded to AO3 through the Open Doors program and the relationship tag didn't come with it, so I have very few (like very, very few) repeat relationships listed. For example, I have no 7th most common relationship, I have a 5-way tie for sixth place each with 2 stories each.

Interesting. I should do this meme too. Though most of the older stuff I wrote isn't on Ao3, which I'm more than fine with.

(True story: I once posted a fic to one of the archives, but I didn't realize there were comments like on ff.n. I got back into the archive, found the fic from a few years earlier, and realized all these people had said nice things I'd completely ignored. Whoops.)

As you can tell (almost 2 weeks after you left this comment) I am HORRIBLE at responding to things, and I feel you're pain in discovering way too late that you have missed something wonderful. Did you wind up commenting on them, or slink in shame like I do? ❤️❤️

The website incident was 22 years ago or so, so I have no idea, but I believe I did! I felt bad that I had all these nice reviews and didn't even realize.

I also comment to Ao3 comments late. That was actually another one where I was initially late because I used a burner email for Ao3, so I wasn't getting notifications. And of course, sometimes people just comment when I'm not able to respond, and I forget.



I might do this. It's tricky because again, I've written so many fics that aren't even on Ao3, but I can always just go by the last few years. I wrote a lot of Schitt's Creek fic. I do have a few fics from other fandoms there. (Mostly Harry Potter, although I took most of my HP fics down.)

This is super neat, thank you for sharing! Though I feel your pain in the "complicated feelings about old fics"-department. I've not been active in the Harry Potter fandom for many years, but my most recent prolific fandom was Good Omens...

Though enough about that, huzzah for writing and having fun with fics! And for Yuletide! Nominations for that should be opening up any day now, if I don't misremember. Will you be joining again this year? And if so, are there any specific fandoms you're thinking of nominating?

I don't have a great grasp on all the ick of Gaiman, probably because he's always seemed to me to be a bit... off? But I had friends who adored him and some things of his I've enjoyed, but not a crazy amount and so I just don't want to know. But I'm sorry his vile has affected your happy fandom memories too. UGH. Why are creators often times so gross?!?

But yes, on to better things! YULETIDE!! I just saw that nominations will start soon! I'll probably wind up nominating a few classics that I often nom and maybe a few new obscure things I've just discovered. How about you?

I honestly think fame makes some people go mad. Or at least gives people who're already horrible the power and influence to keep developing those awful sides of their personality with no true consequences.

Huzzah for Yuletide noms! I am rather blank on what to nominate this year though 😅 Many of my old faves have grown too big for Yuletide and others I've sort of given up on at this point (requested many, maaany times, never fulfilled - as often is the fate of niche request in tiny fandoms 😆). I don't think any of my newer fandoms qualify either. Will have to think on it, before the deadline hits! Especially as we have even _more_ nomination slots this year 🤩
