Music Makes it All Better

I sort of went on a music binge a while ago. I do this from time to time. Somehow I wound up on Rise Against. This song just broke me:

GOD! Just... just ;______;

The whole idea of bullies and being bullied freaks me out. I wasn't. I was invisible. Didn't matter at all. And am completely fine with that, seeing the alternative. :((

*sniffs* it's heartbreaking and I'm like you, in high school I was invisible but in primary school (ages 5-11) I was bullied because I had such an English accent but it's mostly gone now, at least I think so.


I'm not a Dan Rad fan but he does say some very good things. Exhibit a above :)

Bullied for having an English accent??? wow. You would be REVERED at my school. I think. Maybe. But yeah, it's the whole unknown and different thing. :((

Yeah. I don't, as a rule, give celebs much credence, but srsly, the things he's done with the Trevor Project are sort of amazing.

Well being the only one with an English accent not understand Kiwi's who shorten their vowels so peg sounds like pig and pen sounds like pin... it was difficult, the girls I went to primary with I also went to high school with... I hate being the centre of attention, why I'm not having a 21st party this year!

I'm like that too... but he does do good stuff and he says some sensiible things. Comes across very genuine.

Yeah. He's one of the good ones. I think we should keep him. ;) I loved when there was all the hub-bub about his "drinking problem" which was pretty much him saying, "Yeah, I had a small window of time where I was having fun at bars but then I decided I didn't want to do that, so I don't." haha, oh if only we all had such "drinking problems." ♥♥

Indeed it was. Now I barely say anything when I meet people and they wonder why *snorts*

He doesn't make a big deal out of things... not really, I think it's great! I can't comment on the whole drinking issue thing lol I don't drink, meds kinda get in the way!
