Fandom Snowflake Challenge #6

In your own space, create your own challenge. What’s something you want to see more people doing in fandom? Is there something you’ve tried that you think other people would enjoy if they gave it a go? Dare your friends to try it out, and have fun with it.
I wasn't going to do this one. The first thing that came to my mind was that I'd like to challenge myself to actually fuckin' be here. But, that seems sort of a intangible thing that I'm either here for or I'm not. But, that's not what they're asking here for anyway. They want a challenge, like a fandom thing.
Hmmmm.
Here's my thing. I have a few ideas. But I don't want to start a thing that goes no where. And I'm not... somehow I'm not the sort of person that gets people rallied around things. So, I guess I'll just throw this challenge out there and see if I get any interest in it. If I do, then I'll put the work in and I will rock the fuck out of it.
Geeky Gift Exchange
I've been involved in a few through the years. A group from a Harry Potter conference who a few times through the year, holds one, a friend here on LJ held a Snape/Sherlock one for a few years that was fun. What usually happens, everyone who signs up, answers a questionnaire about fandoms, likes and dislikes and whatnot and then are matched with someone based on that and you are required to craft (or purchase--or most cases, I bit of both) something for the other person and send it to them. Kind of like a Fandom Secret Santa thing.
I like fic exchanges, I do, but it's also fun to do arts and crafts and to support Fandom crafters on Etsy and whatnot. Plus, I love getting mail.
If that doesn't work, maybe I could challenge myself to send random postcards to any flister who is trusting enough to give me an address. I like to send mail, and I have just discovered while cleaning out my office, that I have a shit ton of postcards and whatnot.
So, that's Day 6 done. Now I do the 7th by the end of the day and I'm totes caught up. I didn't post about the 5th day--leaving feedback--but it's something that I do almost religiously. I don't understand writers and artists who don't. I really don't. I'm not being snotty about it, I just know what makes me happy and try and do likewise to people who give of themselves for my enjoyment and whatnot. It's a karma thing.
