Fandom Snowflake Challenge Day Ten

Day 10

In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts.

Yikes. I've never done this before. Never did one of those Fandom Stockings/Wishlist things. I don't know why, maybe the same reason I choke when family asks me what I want for Christmas/Birthday... I honestly can't think of anything. If I'm being honest, I would also say it has something to do with my bad luck with those charity auction things. When you can't even pay people to make you banners, podfic your stories or write you something, you start thinking it's just not in the cards for you.

But nevermind. I am doing this today not expecting anything... not like the auction things (not that I really expect much from those either) oh, but that reminds me... I thought of a great idea that surely has to be a thing. There has to be a community or something that is like a mix between FandomAid and Fiverr. Where people who have skills go and list them and people who need skills go and find them and there is a barter system, some sort of give and take... maybe for charity, or maybe not...

Someone should get on that.

I'll start. I'll list some things I want and put it out there and if you or someone you know can do it, let me know and I can pay you back with fic/beta/donation in your name to charity of your choice (as long as it's a cause I support).

Three Things:

♥ Doctor Who icons-- one specifically. A gif icon of 11 being adorable with text along the line of "I will hug him and pet him and call him Squishy..." or something. I would also love some Doctor Who quote icons. I only really know 11 yet, but if you've seen any, point me, cool?

♥ Banner, header and know how-- I'm starting a new writing community along the lines of crackwhore_muse (Actually very, very similar... basically just changing the name) and want some banners and whatnot... this one does have some time constraints as am planning a fest in February. I will be back soon to pimp it.

♥ The Usual-- I, like most writers I know, would LOVE anything based on any of my fics--or book (just sayin')--fic, fanmix, art, podfic... whatever. ♥♥

The comm will be called Writers On The Rocks and I'm looking for some sort of graphic that will incorporate the two different meanings (i.e. drinking and you know, rocks.
