How are you all? I have missed you all like CRAZY! Why do I keep letting life keep me away? WHYYYYYY?!?! I certainly don't mean to. Not even a little.

But, school is killing me.
Work is killing me.

I find relief in fandom things... but only have the time to consume it and let it fill my head with fantasy and whatnot. it doesn't give me time to interact with it, to create anything from it.

Hardly ever.

But, I am trying (again) to change that. I'm forcing myself to do things that I enjoy instead of just the things I have to do.

Yep, once again, I am participating (and modding a bit) this glorious fest! It really does help me connect with my fandom self and it's great to also reconnect with the other old timers while meeting new lovelies. ♥

The first day was to update the profile or intro post. But my update last year is still painfully accurate so it stays.


I'm also toying with participating in this fest candyheartsex. It is filling the void that Chocolate Box not running created. I love Chocolate Box because it's like Yuletide, but with even more options as its focused more on relationships and less on being a small fandom. I nommed some things and will either sign up (they close on the 7th) or just peruse letters and pinch hits and whatnot. I like creating more than I like receiving--even though, I do get some AWESOME things.

Which brings me to Yuletide ♥ The only real writing I do some years (this year I also did some Veronica Mars writing WHA?!?!?! but more on that later.) This year I wrote a weird little ditty in The Good Place fandom--see if you can spot the fusion hint in the title. ;)

I'm forcing myself to do things that I enjoy instead of just the things I have to do. I don't know why this is so HARRRRRRRD, but WOW it really is. I've signed up to a challenge to post 50 fannish things this year - so just about 1 a week with a bit of grace, which I'm hoping will give my hind brain enough of an excuse to get into the habit of fannish posting regularly again (linked in my first post this year if you're interested)
