This year's Fandom March Madness took a nasty turn against one of my favorite doctors and the actor who plays him. :(((

So, please tell me good things about Mr. Martin Freeman and/or why Dr. John Motherfuckin' Watson is a BAMF. Or, barring that, spam me with loveliness in the Sherlock/Watson/Martin Freeman variety...any Watson... Any Freeman.

Oh no! I am sorry to hear that things got nasty, and am sort of glad that I didn't read all of the comments, because I would have been enraged.

John Watson is the best friend anyone could ever have. He and Sherlock are meant to be together, whether that is platonically or romantically. He and Sherlock are epic together, and they have stood the test of time. And I mean this with every ounce of me. Of all of the literary and non literary characters that I have come across and read and studied and loved, John and Sherlock is a pairing that shines above all others.

Sherlock would be a lesser man without John Watson by his side, always.

He is sort of amazing isn't he? Like on his own and also what he brings to the relationship and how he makes Sherlock a better person-- a fete within itself.
