Hi! I'm spikedluv everywhere (LJ/DW/Tumblr/Twitter, though I'm most active on LJ/DW). As many people do, I discovered fandom via BtVS, though back then it was Yahoo groups. *g* For a short while I was monofannish, but that ship has pretty much sailed. Heh, no pun intended. I'm a slasher and an OTP'er. I love to share my obsessions (mostly in an attempt to get other people to join me so I'm not obsessing alone).

I have a few 'large' fandoms I participate in to a greater or lesser extent (Teen Wolf, Captain America, AOS/The Avengers, AI RPS) and a multitude of small fandoms, which is where I spend most of my moderating time (I'm currently running a small fandom bb and fest). Hit The Floor (really Jude and Zero) is my latest fandom and the place where I'm spending most of my writing time.

Non-fannishly, we have two dogs (Beau[regard] and Ti[conderoga]) and a gaggle of nieces and nephew ranging in age from 27 to 7. (We thought we were done until my baby sister got married and started spitting out kids. *g*)

Ahhhh, your name sounds really familiar. Did you run the Shelter community that had monthly re-watches? I loved those!!

I love small fandoms! I usually get sucked into a lot of HP fests because there are just SO MANY! Still. But every year while writing and consuming at Yuletide, I sm reminded how much I love small fandoms. Your readership might be potentially smaller, but way more appreciative and supportive.

I did, yes! I still do mod that comm, but the fandom got very quiet that even winter fests and re-watches couldn't pull people out of the woodwork. *sad face*

Yeah, I think I found that movie at the tail end of all that. I remember a few re-watches and maybe one fest. It wasn't until a few years later for yuletide that I felt confident enough to write for it myself, but I've always loved reading the stories.

If you ever get the urge to write the boys again, there are a lot of Shelter prompts at smallfandomfest (currently still open for Round 20 til the end of the month, omg!).
