In your own space, set some goals for the coming year. They can be fannish or not, public or private.

Going back to the previous years' goals and these are the ones that remain every year and the ones that help me do all the things that aren't on that list. Also, like horoscopes, vague enough that success can be interpreted many ways. ;)

d) be present in people's lives more

Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before.

The great thing about being on the volunteer mod team is that I do this A LOT, like for a whole month a lot. It's awesome and exhausting and I wouldn't have it any other way. *waves at new friends*

Hello there - I'm reaching out and waving, as I do my own Challenge 5; thanks for commenting on one of my posts earlier. I totally approve of your goals, and I'm a bit in awe that you're volunteer modding. Oh, and hey, I note that you love White Collar. It's been so long since I watched that series, and it was so, so good! I even managed to cross over White Collar w/my main fandom once, and was delighted in so doing.

ETA: Oh dear - I just looked a little farther and realized that you love Dr. Who as well. I should have been far more thorough, shouldn't I? Well, now I can tell you that you are even more awesome!

Oh, sorry, I meant that I'd crossed over White Collar and Harry Potter, not Doctor Who. I've only been brave enough to write maybe three short Doctor Who things? ♥ Though, I do want to write 11 into like EVERYTHING... someday... *sigh*

Eleven is rather wonderful, isn't he? And he's generally happy to cooperate with writers who bring him in to their stories, so I encourage you to take the plunge!
