You're Invited to a Sprint Party!
What: Sprint Party!
When: Starts Now! (9am EST) Ends whenever the last sprinter leaves.
Location: Here, in the comments!
Hosts:
thedreamisreal and I
No need to RSVP! Invite who ever you'd like. Come on over whenever you'd like and stay as long as you'd like.
How this will work: Every hour, on the hour, I will make a new comment simply saying GO! You write as many words as you can in the time set by you (I like 20 minutes myself, but you do you, bb), and then you come back to that comment and under it, tell us how long you sprinted for and how many words you wrote. Then we spend the time between sprints congratulating/commiserating with each other (or you know, doing life type things), until we start it all over again in the next hour.
Sometimes there will (hopefully) be lots of people here sharing their struggle, rocking the words, and sometimes you will be sprinting all alone. That's okay as long as you're getting words down, this party will continue!
Tapping Out: When I have to step away from the computer and see to other responsibilities for over an hour at a time, I will make a comment "TAPPING OUT" and someone else will take on the responsibility of making the hourly comment. When they can't do it anymore, they'll do the same until there's just no one around to take up the baton. Then the party will truly be over.
Sound fun?
Excellent! I'm going to go and get myself a coffee and will be back at 9 for the first sprint. Hope to see you sometime later!

Mostly just little things I needed to get done before I start for legit on my Chocolate Box--which is what most of my sprinting will be used for!

Anyway, my world is drabbles these days, but I can play for a little bit.

Drabble Sprints are fun too. I used to have a community that would have Drabble marathons where every hour a new prompt would go up and everyone had an hour to write something for it. It was INSANE, but I got so many stories written.

Re: NOON EST
The coffee and lack of food hit hard. Stopped for lunch and therefore, only got a quick 10 minute sprint where I wrote a little over 100 words.
Oh well.

Thanks Everyone!
Thanks for joining us!
Hope you got something out of it. I know I did. I was really panicked about my Chocolate Box before today. But not only did I get a lot done, but I'm also inspired to get even more done tomorrow!
