Okay, I have been putting this off for a while now, but I really want to see this challenge to the bitter end and so...

You see, my confidence in these things are not stellar in the best of times, and lately my karma has been spectacularly bad...

But... well, this one time at a con I met a flister who I didn't really know that well at the time, and she said something that has stayed with me for all these years whether she remembers it or not. She said, "I love your journal, it's so effervescent!" That one simple sentence, that one simple word--effervescent--has gotten me through some bad self-esteem-why-am-I-here days.

So, here I am putting it--and my heart--out for you to do with what you want.

Tam, I could tell you how wonderful you are all day, all my life, and never once repeat myself.

You're incredibly sweet and kind, you're honest and gentle, selfless and warm, and so talented it amazes me every time. I know this in my head, and then I see evidence of this, all of this, again and again I'm awed I got to know you and see you smile, even hug you.

Livejournal, my life!, would never ever be the same if I hadn't met you. You're the best thing that happened to me at Terminus, and I don't tell you nearly enough how much I love you, but I hope you know. ♥
