Challenge #6: Share a piece of canon...
I feel this is a bit of a cheat, but that's only because I had planned for a much more eleborate thing that needed a lot more set up and explanation and then it was all just too much, and I felt like it might be spoilery and also maybe not that interesting to people who aren't me (which isn't usually something that bothers me--HAHA--but combine that with the time needed, and yeah...)
So, this instead.
Basically, I think everyone should watch Ted Lasso, and if there was one scene that needed very little set up to entice this would be the scene I would make everyone watch. It does all the things--well most of the things--I love about this show:
Ted playing up his Dumb American thing.
Ted acknowledging his own privilege.
Ted being underestimated.
Rebecca being awed.
Rupert being a gigantic wanker.
So, here, let me force you to watch this:

That said, that scene was really great as well. It was funny and it made me smile in that this feels really good way. Thanks for sharing!

And yes! The whole show will make you feel really good. Even in the deep, and real places, it's just so very delightful. ❤️❤️

Another great scene is Rebecca helping Ted through a panic attack.
I love how this show walks the edge of embarrassment squick but never falls in.
Thank you for posting!

Like yes, Ted is sometimes a tad too optimistic, but (despite what Michelle and their unethical therapist thinks) it was never toxic, even if it was a complete coping mechanism. ❤️❤️
