"Uh, like, I know this is really late, but has anyone considered the effect of taking the Milano through when it already exists in reality?" Peter asked a little anxiously. "Like, I don't want to get back to reality and suddenly find that we don't have a ship around us. I mean, I'm fine, and I can save you guys if there's something to latch to, but...uh..."

"Dr. Foster and I have considered many permutations and possibilities in preparation for this." Najira said, smiling faintly. "But it is well that you thought of it at your age."

"It was?" Peter straightened his shoulders. "Cool. Wait, what do you mean 'at my age'?"

Haha, still working on those same bingo cards as the previous two weeks.

But I've also been participating daily in halfamoon, both posting self-recs of stuff I've written as well as recs of other people's stuff.

Wow. That's a cool community I'd never heard of. I'm definitely going to check out the recs...and maybe make some of my own.

How are the stories coming along?

Eh, not so good. Hoping that taking a little break to do halfamoon will help with a breakthrough. I have until end of March to complete ladiesbingo, so trying to get that one done first.

It really is a cool community, everyone is really nice, and although the main event is beginning of February there is other activity and 'mini' events throughout the year.

How about a little of the never ending fandom_stocking 'drabble' that's now like 18K? (Buffy the vampire slayer/Angel x-over)

Connor snorted. "What's it going to be, Rayne? A little information or a lot of pain?"

"Option three." Rayne's hand came up but before he could cast the spell, Connor threw him toward Giles.

"Giles, you deal with him," he called as Rayne hit ground hard, rolling at Giles's feet. "Maybe we just keep hitting all the mages until they're done for and that'll stop this."

"Works for me," Faith said slashing into the chest of a Noind, like the one that had followed him from Quor-Toth the first time.

"Those things have mates, Faith, keep an eye out," Connor said.

"Great. Where is he?" She scanned around.

"She, that was the male."

"Destroyer," something bellowed, dragging Connor's attention back to the gate. "It has been too long!"

"Destroyer? Pissed Off Boyfriend can't be the Destroyer," one of the witches cried. "He's a Quor-Tothian demon lord."

The huge dezagath demon laughed. "He killed my son, ate him and wore his skin. I would know him anywhere. Now it's my time to...is that my daughter's horn?” The demon gawked at him.

"Jhihon, it's been a long time. What? Centuries and was this your kid?” Connor waved the horn overhead. “Maybe you better stop sending them after me."

I've now completed two lingering summer mini challenge tables, still have a few left to work on and I'm slowly getting through edits on the short fics for those that are almost ready for posting but battling with some bad dyslexia days has kind of set me back a little bit.

I think this weekend will be for making icons. I caved and bought s1-5 Brokenwood Mysteries on DVD and there's lots of pretty behind the scenes pictures as well as the eps that I can cap and work from. Might also take part in Brokenwood fic week which is sometime this month, it's going to depend on what the prompts are like.
