It was just on CNN that it was actually the Chief Justice that made the mistake. The commentator was laughing that the he had one job and he messed it up.

I just saw that! But at the time!?!?! I was having major performance anxieties...I wanted to scream into the TV "LINE!"

I'm just glad that was the only flub! And that he can talk in complete articulate sentences...

I was so worried about the flub and I feel much better knowing it was Chief justice's fault.

Yeah, it made me feel much better that our Chief Justice can't get his lines right then the the President!!

I'm sure he was--"You see? This is why Biden and I voted NO to letting you into the Supreme Court JACKASS!"

weren't you just terrified when he flubbed the oath it reminded me so much of every groom at every wedding, when they're so overwhelmed and happy they would babble if allowed. T'was cute!

And when Bush hugged Michelle (if you've seen that), he was all "COME HERE!" and she was all "HELL NO!" the lady has good taste.

Yeah, it totally did! But I'm still so happy that it was the other guy that gave him the wrong lines! The last thing we need is another president who can't listen!!

HAHAHAHAHA! That is awesome! I missed that! I guess I was too busy watching Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton make out in the corner! It's LURVE!!

Well his prompter flubbed it too, I think; so he was probably going "wait, what did he say? That's not how it was when I practiced it. Well, I guess I'll repeat what he said--" and then the prompter tried to correct himself, and then they jsut went ahead with it anyway. Something like that.

That said, I wouldn't call it "scary". Heh. Dude's probably got a lot on his mind, you know?
