Challenge #5 Talk about what has improved in your life thanks to fandom.

You know what? Let's do a photo representation of just how, this summer, fandom improved my life. I wouldn't have either of these adventures without fandom. True story.

The first adventure was my reward for surviving 50+ years, hiking 50ish trails and getting my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education AND meeting redsnake05  all those years ago in a Ron Weasley Writing Community ❤️❤️
 

My second adventure this summer was moving across country from Virginia to Washington state. I had my trusty Chevy and a U-haul with all my belongs, but I don't think I would have survived if my bestie Apythia, who got me into fandom to start, with hadn't offered to fly up from NoLa and take the drive with me. ❤️❤️

I will forever be humbled and awed that this people see me at my geekiest and weirdest and still want to call me friend and show me their amazing country, and drive across our slightly less amazing one (only slightly) to keep me company. ❤️❤️

It was great having her! I've done it before on my own, but never with a trailer and I was NOT prepared for how different it would be! Thankfully, she was cool and calm when things got weird. ❤️❤️
