Oh, I somehow just love the idea of Thomas Riker and Deanna's mother. I mean, that is some ripe material to explore there! Sorry for just butting in--you don't know me! But I read this and was sucked in! Great start!

Thanks so much! Sadly Tom/Lwaxana is not my end game here (the summary of this fic will probably be something like "Falsehood flies, and the truth comes limping after it."), although now I kinda feel bad about that because so many people seem into it.
