I went out onto my back porch, letting the breeze caress my perspiration-slick body, trying to give Amber Rose back to the night. Story of my life, really. When things go unbelievably bad, there's a woman involved. It's not their fault. I have nothing but respect for women. I think it's more a case of the sins of the father being visited on the son. Dad had no luck with women. After spending his youth whoring around, fathering who knows how many bastards and somehow avoiding syphilis, he got killed in an alley by, appropriately enough, a one-time syphilitic prostitute, dear old Mom.
