Work In Progress Wednesday

Snow Day Edition!

I am home trying to get SHIT DONE, so of course, that means lets share our miseries--or triumphs if that's your jam. ;)

Give us a piece of what you're working on, let us cheerlead you closer to the finish line. Writing, art, craft, meta, podfic, what-have-you is all welcome, as is non-fandom related stuff.

I am super interested in your meta on Dragonriders of Pern. Could you point me to it?

The whole thing is at The Slacktiverse. The navigation there isn't the best, unfortunately, but if you like opening a whole lot of tabs, you can use the Pern tag, but I started at the beginning and am well into the collaboration books at this point. So there's a lot to read.

Thank you so much! I had read the books a long time ago (late '70s, early '80s), back before I was a critical reader, and loved this rather unconditionally. But I've become well aware of how problematic they are, particularly the first two books, and I want to better understand what people think about them now.

Well, you may find it useful, then, since I'm mostly coming at it from the same boat for the first few. After that, though, we're into books I haven't read at all until that point in time.
