And now is where I admit I've turned into the weirdest and saddest sort of nerd, the one who does most of their fandom interactions on Facebook--are you fucking kidding me?!?! UGH! How did I become this? I think I blame the Harry Potter conference Misti-Con (and Harry Potter fandom in general) because a lot of the friends I met at the conference and in the early years of HP only really communicate on there anymore.

Oddly enough, I don't do much HP fandom there, well besides Nannies of Hogwarts, but that's a pretty niche group, but if you too are a nanny who loves HP, feel free. *g*

No, Facebook is really were I get all my The West Wing squee, discussion and minutia gazing done. These are the three most interesting groups.

Wit and Wisdom of The West Wing 2.0 This community is strictly about the show and any real life politics or off topic subjects will get your wristslapped. Honestly, this isn't my favorite group, but it was my first, plus we have a drinking game that everyone has to drink whenever someone posts about Toby being (or not being) The Leak. It's ridiculous.

What Would Bartlet Do? This one is almost all real life politics, whether it has anything to do with the show or not. It's a nice place to talk about politics and what's going on in the world with people who are pretty much guaranteed like-minds based on their appreciation of TWW. ;)

What's Next This one is my favorite. It's a nice mix of silly and politics. They are much more "fandomy" then the other two (it's really weird to do fandom with people who don't really know all that it can be.) :(

But, that's what Geek Mom Talk is for. The only requirement for this community run by the Blog Site Geek Mom is that you are a geek and a mom (I snuck in as a nanny). They have a lot of awesome ladies from all walks of life who geek about a whole bunch of different things. You can post yourself, and everyday there is a daily post that everyone share a little bit about what they're doing, what's happening in their lives, their good and bad. I love it.

But seriously, I need to get of of Facebook. It's just so easy! DW doesn't work well on my phone and Tumblr and Instagram steals too much time and I never really "connect" with anyone there, and my phone is just right there and my computer is just... not. :((

But maybe this is the year that I come back for legit! There have been so many people reccing so many communities that I need to check out. What about you all? Where are you spending your fandom time?
