So, let's talk Next Gen...

HP Next Gen to be specific. sorry to get you excited Star Trek fans. :((

It's been well established that I love to write me some rare characters--Gideon Crumb what--but I don't think I've ever attempted before to write about rare characters that actually have a HUGE fanon presence. I'm attempting to write about Albus and Teddy and to a smaller extinct James and also Harry and Ginny as parents *shudders* I'm finding myself stressing about characterizations for these people who were mere names, faces and tiny bit of personalities in the books--book chapter.

So, I thought I'd ask my Next Gen lovin' flist: What are your thoughts and opinions on the characters that fall into this category? Any generally accepted no-nos? Any forgone conclusions that will throw you out of a story if not adhered? Nicknames-- Yay or Nay?

I'll leave this post open, so feel free to invite others into the conversation. I'm not sure how many Nex Geners I actually have on my flist. All opinions are valid and appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
