Work In Progress Wednesday

So, I thought this might be a fun way for me to be here with you all on a weekly basis. Every Wednesday, come and share a bit of what you're working on, whether it be fic, craft, art, meta or anything in between. It doesn't have to be fandom-related. But, if it's for a anonymous fest and your stuff is to be secret, then maybe don't share that? You could share any struggles, achievements and whatnot though.

Feel free to read other people's entries (if anyone else does this that is) and cheer/commiserate/bemoan with them.

My smallfandombang Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters fic is due in a little over a week, and I only have a tenth of it done. *sobs* Not for lack of wanting to write it, it's just now that the deadline is so close, I'm psyching myself out.

This post has also inspired me to say no to another Netflix binge tonight (you're well enough to go to work, self, so being sick is not an excuse anymore.). Instead, maybe I'll attempt to finish 2 squares of my latch hook rug. This is the project I'm working on. I've barely finished the first row, so lots to go!

And ahhhhhhh, I totally get the whole psyching yourself out when the deadline looms too close and the feat seems insurmountable. But, I have faith! If you need a sprint partner this weekend, let me know. I'll be trying to get a lot of my Chocolate Box done.

I know, I was so excited to find it in the store. The box was absolutely covered in dust, lol. But it's so huge! There's like 160 squares of 10x10 and I've done maybe 10-15 of those.

I'd love to be a sprint partner! I have time all day Saturday (I'm in the EST time zone!).

Excellent! I'm around Saturday EST until about 3pm and then I'll be in and out and around most of the next day. I don't have any "chat" links except gchat, but we could also post it on our journals and update word count in comments. And then anyone else who wants in can join us?

Hey sorry, I took so long to reply. I like the idea of doing it on our journals. I'd be good by 9AM perhaps?

Excellent! So we'll start at 9am? Maybe like 20 minute sprints at the top of each hour (or however long you want)? Is that doable? You want to host it, or would you like me to?

Sure, I'll host. And I think we can keep it going as long as either of us (or anyone else) is still doing it. I would love if it went all weekend long. ;) I REALLY need to write my Chocolate Box, like WHOA!
