haha, no...although it seems as if someone is always running for president and it is said that he only has about 18 months after being elected to govern freely before he has to consider re-election. :(( But today is midterm elections. Some senate, house and governorships are being decided today...it's a lot crazier this year then most midterm elections because the Republicans are getting ready to take everything over...because that worked so well for us when they last did it in 1994. :((

Ohhhh. Okay. That makes more sense, because I SWEAR the last election was like two weeks ago (okay longer than that, but you know what I mean).

The US system fascinates and baffles me - we don't have midterm elections here.
